Amazon deforestation threatens EU-Mercosur trade deal
Germany's Ambassador to Brazil, Georg Witschel, said Tuesday that unless the Brazilian government reduces Amazon deforestation to the levels of 2017 the Mercosur-European Union trade deal will not be ratified by European countries.
