Abstract
The present study examines the importance of failure management in organizations, associating this process to the several big correlated areas
in the industrial scope, focused towards service providing or production of material goods such as: quality control, logistics and transportation,
maintenance, safety, planning, scheduling and production control, among others. The method suggested leads to higher integration and
reliability on the product’s pre-development, development and post-development phases, providing better product’s management, interaction
among the subjects in the supply chain, and reduction of the decision response about a specic failure.
