Chamber begins to analyze bill to regulate trust

A draft bill pending in the Chamber of Deputies is grabbing the attention of the most affluent in Brazil. It intends to regulate trusts, a mechanism through which a person transfers ownership of part or all of his or her assets to someone (a trustee) who assumes the obligation to manage it for the benefit of the settlor or people nominated by him or her (usually heirs).
