Resumo: Tem-se como objetivo deste estudo analisar, comparativamente, os
rendimentos segundo o gênero do idoso em 2002 e 2012. Os dados foram
extraídos dos microdados da PNAD com o auxilio do software STATA, versão
12.0. A amostra foi constituída por 1.473.239 idosos reinseridos no mercado
de trabalho em 2002 e, 2.075.835 em 2012. O estudo permitiu verificar que
a realidade do gênero no mercado de trabalho mudou muito no período de dez
anos, uma vez que, em 2002, as diferenças de rendimentos eram acentuadas
quando comparadas com as médias de 2012.

Abstract: There has as objective of this study is to analyze comparatively in-
come by gender of the elderly in 2002 and 2012. Data were extracted from
the PNAD microdata with the help of STATA, version 12.0. The sample con-
sisted of 1,473,239 elderly reintegration into the labor market in 2002 and
2,075,835 in 2012. This study has shown that the reality of gender in the
labor market has changed a lot in ten years, since in 2002, the diferences in
yields were high compared to the average 2012.
