Leaner, Embraer hopes to resume growth

Plane maker Embraer expects its revenues to be higher than pre-pandemic levels within three or four years, according to CEO Francisco Gomes Neto. The crisis that hit the sector forced Embraer to cut 2,500 job posts and $399 million in expenses in 2020, with consolidated net revenue decreasing around 10%, to R$19.6 billion.
