Rumo starts operating new railroad
Rumo officially begins operating the North-South Railroad this Thursday. The southern stretch is the first to come online, but the entire track will be operational by the end of 2021. The inauguration occurs two years after Rumo won the concession and more than 30 years since the corridor was conceived to be a railroad backbone between the North and South regions.
