RESUMO
O texto analisa as represent ações da figur a de Salomé através das várias formas de
arte. Transita pela literatura, músic a, cinema, teatro e pintura. Explica como a
imagem da Salomé de Oscar Wilde torn ou-se um emblema da transiç ão do s éculo
XIX para o s éculo XX e ainda sobrevive no século XXI como uma figura mítica e
transgressora.

ABSTRACT
The text examines the r epresentations of the f igure of Salome through various forms
of art through liter ature, music, cinema, t heater and p ainting. Explains how the image
of Osc ar W ilde's Salome has become an emblem of the tr ansition of the ninet eenth
century to the twentieth century and still survives in the XXI century as a mythical and
transgressor figure.
