Eneva gives up on merger with AES Tietê for now

Eneva has decided not to make another bid for AES Tietê right now and will dedicate instead to organic growth and spending on ongoing projects. The power generation and distribution company reported a R$179.8 million first-quarter profit, up 38.5% from 2019.
