Governments resolving more conflicts in arbitration
Governments and semi-public companies are increasingly choosing to resolve their conflicts in arbitration - an alternative to courts. They accounted for almost 17% of all cases filed in seven of Brazil's eight main chambers in 2019, the last available data show.
