UnitedHealth negotiates sale of hospitals in the Northeast

Amil's owner, American healthcare company UnitedHealth, is in talks to sell hospitals located in the Northeast region and a portfolio of individual plans. The goal is to sell all these assets in a single package, sources say. Unimed Fortaleza reportedly tried to buy Hospital Monte Klinikum, in Ceará's capital city, but talks fell apart because the medical cooperative had no interest in Amil's individual portfolio.
