RESUMO
Este trabalho busca investigar a formação do mundo português a partir da interface entre local e
das crenças e nas relações entre sociedades, principalmente as mulheres, e os mundos natural e
sobrenatural. As discussões pretendem vincular a formação do mundo português a esses aspectos,
partindo da interface citada, situando-se cronologicamente no século XVI. Para isso, as análises
pretendem ressaltar a importância das práticas mágico-religiosas, das crenças que compuseram a
relação das sociedades com o sobrenatural, bem como das práticas sociais resultantes das mais
variadas versões construídas pelos indivíduos a partir dessa interação.

ABSTRACT
This paper seeks to investigate the formation of the Portuguese world from the interface between local
beliefs and the relations between societies, especially women, and the natural and supernatural worlds.
The discussions intend to link the formation of the Portuguese world to these aspects, starting from the
interface cited, chronologically situated in the sixteenth century. For this, the analyses intend to highlight
the importance of magical-religious practices, of the beliefs that composed the relation of societies with
the supernatural, as well as the social practices resulting from the most varied versions constructed by
individuals from this interaction.
