Exerceu a advocacia por seis anos até ser aprovado no 1º Concurso da Carreira de Auditor-Fiscal do Trabalho — AFT em 2003 (Lei n. 10.593/2002), cargo que exerce atualmente.
Foi também aprovado para Juiz do Trabalho do TRT da 7ª Região no ano 2000, com apenas 23 anos.
No cargo de AFT foi lotado nas Superintendências Regionais do Trabalho nos Estados do Amapá, Paraíba, Distrito Federal e Goiás. Foi Chefe Estadual da Inspeção do Trabalho. Atualmente exerce suas atividades no Contencioso Administrativo Trabalhista.
No Ministério do Trabalho e Emprego — MTE, em Brasília, foi Chefe da Divisão do Cadastro Nacional de Entidades Sindicais da Secretaria de Relações do Trabalho; assessorou o Conselho Nacional de Imigração; foi analista da Corregedoria do MTE; e, analista da Assessoria Internacional do gabinete do Ministro do Trabalho.
