RESUMO: O presente artigo tem a nalidade de tecer algumas reexões no que diz
respeito à atividade notarial, trazendo enfoque na legislação pertinente bem como
na desburocratização dos serviços notariais e na função social que exerce o notário,
prossional do direito que garante a autenticidade, segurança, ecácia e publicidade
dos atos jurídicos por ele praticados. Considerações serão abordadas tendo em vista
novas estruturas sociais que surgem com a evolução de institutos e as legislações que
acompanham essa tendência.

AbSTCT: e purpose of this article is to make some reections regarding the
notarial activity, focusing on the relevant legislation as well as on the bureaucratization
of notary services and the social function carried out by the notary, a legal professional
who guarantees authenticity, security, ecacy And publicity of the juridical acts that he
practiced. Considerations will be addressed in view of new social structures that arise
with the evolution of institutes and the legislations that accompany this trend.
